These terms govern your use of Simple Tip Calculator at simpletipcalculator.com, operated by DPI Worldwide, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please stop using it. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

Using the calculator

The calculator is a free convenience tool for estimating tips and bill totals. It does not provide financial, tax, or other professional advice, determine required gratuities, or process restaurant payments. Check the bill, included service charges, and final amounts before paying. Calculations round money to cents and displayed percentages may be rounded.

Use the site lawfully. Do not introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt its availability or security.

Ownership and sharing

The site’s original design, code, and content are owned by DPI Worldwide, LLC unless otherwise identified. You may use the calculator for personal or business calculations and share links to it. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize resale or republication of the site. Rights allowed by law or a separately provided license are unaffected.

Optional support and external services

“Buy me a coffee” contributions are voluntary support for our work. They are not required to use the calculator, do not purchase additional features, and are not represented as tax-deductible charitable donations. Any recurring option must be selected at the external checkout; using the calculator does not create a subscription.

Buy Me a Coffee, its payment providers, and other linked or sharing services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control those services or guarantee their availability. For support-payment questions or refund requests, contact us below; applicable law and the terms presented at checkout apply.

Availability, warranties, and liability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue the calculator. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DPI Worldwide, LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the site, and their total liability for claims relating to this free calculator will not exceed $100. These terms do not exclude liability or limit consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes and applicable law

Updates apply prospectively, with the revised date shown above and additional notice where required. Continued use after updated terms take effect indicates acceptance. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions still apply.

Michigan law and applicable U.S. federal law govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in a court with jurisdiction in Kent County, Michigan, unless applicable law requires another forum. Non-waivable protections under the laws where you live remain unaffected.
